Originally from Costa Rica, Kattia Rojas has strived to capture in her products the very essence of her roots.  She has devoted more than ten years to delighting her customers with her unique Latino flavor, adding to each of her dishes ingredients that truly represent where she comes from: “It runs in the family and through my veins. I learned the trade since I was a little girl. My grandparents instilled this in me because they devoted most of their lives to serving people at their hotel. My grandmother was always in the kitchen, and I inherited her great sazón (seasoning), while my grandfather taught me to treat our customers and guests with the utmost respect.  To me, my customers are like my family, and my food is my gift to them,” she said.

Kattya has advanced studies in marketing and customer service, and she graduated with honors from the baking program at CNM. She is also finishing her associate degree in culinary arts. Through her catering company, Buen Provecho Albuquerque, she currently makes and distributes desserts in different local restaurants throughout this New Mexican city

Proveniente de Costa Rica, Kattia Rojas se ha encargado de captar en sus productos la esencia de sus raíces. Desde hace más de una década, ella se ha dedicado por completo a complacer a sus clientes con su toque único latino, incorporando en cada platillo ingredientes que verdaderamente representen de donde proviene: “Esto mío es de familia y fluye en mis venas.  Lo aprendí desde muy niña y lo heredé de mis abuelitos, quienes se dedicaron la mayor parte de su vida a servir en el hotel que tenían. Mi abuelita siempre en la cocina y de ella tengo su sazón, y de mi abuelito heredé la forma de tratar a los huéspedes y clientes con mucho respeto. Para mí mis clientes son como mi familia y mi comida es mi regalo a su paladar”, explicó Kattia.

Kattia tiene estudios avanzados en mercadotecnia y servicio al cliente, y se graduó con honores del programa de pastelería en la institución de educación superior CNM.  Ella también está terminando su diplomado en artes culinarias.  Actualmente, mediante su empresa de banquetes a domicilio, Buen Provecho Albuquerque, ella elabora y distribuye postres en distintos restaurantes de esta ciudad de Nuevo México.
